A Luxurious Symphony of Chocolate from Sicily
Setteveli (meaning “Seven Veils”) is a legendary Italian cake born in Palermo, Sicily. Created by pastry masters Luigi Biasetto, Cristian Beduschi, and Gianluca Mannori, it was first introduced at the 1997 World Pastry Championship—and won! Each of its seven layers is a celebration of chocolate, hazelnuts, and Sicilian ingredients, making it one of the most iconic and elegant cakes in modern Italian pastry.
