Biscuit Brick Cake (Kiksekage) - Denmark



“The No-Bake Chocolate Wall of Joy!”

Long ago in Denmark, families needed a sweet treat that didn’t require baking—especially during hot summers or times when ovens were hard to come by. That’s how Kiksekage was born! “Kiks” means biscuit, and “kage” means cake. So it’s literally a “biscuit cake”—layered like bricks with rich chocolate mortar in between. Danish kids loved helping build it, one cookie at a time!
